WASHINGTON / REUSABLE MOVING BOX RENTALS

Good boxes.Hello, Duvall.

A practical start for your Duvall move.

Moving around downtown Duvall or the Snoqualmie River valley? HiveBoxx gives you a reusable alternative to buying and assembling cardboard boxes for the move. Select quantities for your belongings, have the bins delivered and plan your unpacking around the pickup date chosen at booking. An individually rented dolly is optional, and careful packing remains important for fragile items. Service depends on both exact addresses rather than an area name alone; check eligibility and review separate delivery and pickup fees before paying online.

LOCAL MOVING NOTES

Plan the valley approach, snow route, and unloading space

Use current alerts for the approach, review the local snow plan, and resolve loading questions before committing to arrival arrangements.

01

Use current alerts for the valley approach

Duvall links to a regional flood-related road closure map, but that document is dated 2015 and describes a typical sequence, not today's road status. If your planned approach uses NE 124th Street or Woodinville-Duvall Road, check current King County road information close to departure. The county's closure list primarily covers unincorporated roads, so also review Duvall's own updates for the city portion. Give the mover the complete approach and a contact at the property; do not improvise a detour around a posted closure.

02

Match the truck approach to the snow plan

Duvall's published snow plan identifies common closure and detour areas around Stephens Street, Bruett Road, Big Rock Road, and Third Avenue. Its priority schedule starts with the snow route before other street categories, so reaching an arterial does not settle the final approach. Before a winter move, review the city's current route information with the driver. Ask the property contact to inspect the actual unloading area and entrance, and agree who will prepare the walking path or reassess the move if conditions change.

03

Ask about the space your move will occupy

Duvall's permit directory includes a right-of-way application, but that listing alone does not answer whether a particular move needs approval. If the truck, ramp, or temporary staging would use public space, ask the city what applies to your exact setup before making arrangements. Send a simple sketch showing the proposed stopping point, pedestrian path, and unloading duration. Separately ask the owner or building manager about private loading permission and access hours. Have the mover confirm the space needed to unload without blocking the agreed path.

DELIVERY + COLLECTION

Two legs.One clear policy.

Both addresses must be within 75 road miles of the assigned warehouse, checked separately using exact road distance. Billing rounding never expands eligibility. Service and dates still need confirmation.

How distance charges work

15

miles covered by each trip’s base fee

$2

USD / mile beyond the first 15, per trip

Delivery and pickup are quoted separately. Each trip carries up to 150 items; Large bins, XL bins and dollies each count as one item. Larger orders use additional trips. Each trip has a base fee of $25 for 1–30 items, $30 for 31–75 items or $35 for 76–150 items, covering the first 15 one-way road miles from the serving location. Billing distance is rounded down to 0.1 mile; only miles beyond 15 are charged at $2 per mile for each trip. Every required trip has its applicable base fee, including additional service trips and agreed customer-caused failed-pickup trips. Selected access charges apply per trip and are included in your Delivery Fee or Pickup Fee. Each address must be within 75 exact road miles of its assigned serving location; rounding never expands eligibility. Review your complete price and applicable tax before paying.

MAKE IT YOURS

Sort for the final carrying distance

Label crates by destination room and mark the first few needed inside. Keep books and dense items in manageable loads, especially when the truck cannot park beside the entrance. Pack a separate bag with keys, chargers, water, and a change of clothes. Before unloading, agree on a clear indoor landing spot so boxes do not collect along the walking route. Start with Large bins; optional XL bins and separately selected dollies should suit the path you have checked.

Build your order

Starting counts are guidance, not a guarantee that everything will fit. Review your rental, Delivery Fee, Pickup Fee and applicable tax before payment.
