Read more than the curb color
Kenmore's parking guidance includes restrictions that apply without a sign. Where an edge line marks the traveled way, a parked vehicle must fit completely outside it; marked bicycle and pedestrian lanes also need to remain clear. The city does not paint curbs to identify every restriction. Check the whole vehicle's position rather than treating an unpainted edge as permission to unload.

Ask before reserving public space
Kenmore's right-of-way checklist lists temporary parking, storage and lane or sidewalk closures under its Type B category. If your plan needs exclusive public space, ask Development Services what applies before placing cones or arranging a closure. Its separate Moving permit concerns large structures or oversized loads; do not assume that label describes an ordinary household move.

Check Bothell Way before departure
Bothell Way, also called SR 522, is a state-operated route through Kenmore. The city's traffic page links to WSDOT road information and live cameras. Check the approach shortly before departure, then use property-specific directions for the final turn and loading entrance. For an apartment move, leave room in your schedule between the road trip and any reserved elevator window.
