Identify the turn before reaching ferry traffic
WSDOT's Mukilteo terminal directions describe separate general-ferry and priority/through lanes on the First Street approach to the holding area. Review that layout with the driver if your destination is nearby, then confirm the property's own entrance. The terminal has no general parking; its short-term passenger pickup spaces are not a moving staging plan. Follow current lane signs and signals, and agree on a suitable waiting place before the vehicle reaches the waterfront.

Check the Old Town parking permit's scope
Mukilteo's residential-zone permits can exempt eligible residents and their guests from posted parking-hour restrictions in areas such as Old Town. That purpose does not establish an exclusive moving space. Confirm which zone covers the home, how any guest vehicle must be registered and where helpers may park. Ask the city about the actual moving-vehicle plan if it needs public space; do not assume a waterfront or residential permit authorizes unloading anywhere.

Recheck the 5th Street corridor for your date
If your approach uses 5th Street or W. Mukilteo Boulevard, review the city's preservation-project page. It covers Lincoln Avenue to the Everett city limits. Ask about the entrance and pedestrian route for your moving date, and recheck the latest schedule before departure. Project forecasts can change; a planning page alone does not establish that work has started, that a road is closed or that a particular entrance is available.
