Check the McMicken parking zone
SeaTac's permit-parking program covers the McMicken neighborhood and requires qualifying residents or businesses to register vehicles for parking beyond three hours in the zone. A resident's permit does not automatically cover a mover or helper. Check the current zone map and ask the city about your particular vehicle; arrange private visitor parking with the property manager when appropriate.

Do not count on Military Road's shoulder
The city's shoulder-parking guidance identifies restrictions on Military Road South between South 188th Street and South 229th Place, intended to preserve walking space and sight lines. Check the signs at your exact location before choosing an unloading point. If the building faces that road, ask for its approved off-street approach rather than planning to stop on the shoulder.

Verify the station-area entrance
SeaTac's Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements project covers portions of 32nd Avenue South, South 176th Street and South 180th Street. If your move uses that area, check the current project update and confirm the open property entrance before departure. Plan the carrying route as well as the vehicle route so bins do not block a pedestrian detour or temporary access path.
