Check the 42nd Avenue bridge direction
Tukwila's current bridge-replacement page says the 42nd Avenue South bridge is restricted to one-way southbound traffic until the replacement is built. If your approach crosses the river there, review the latest update with your driver and plan the return trip separately. Confirm the vehicle's suitability and current signs; do not rely on a familiar two-way route or an old map.

Ask about the actual truck class
Tukwila's traffic code has separate parking provisions for large vehicles and for Class 3 and Class 4 vehicles in residential zones. Some large-vehicle provisions include an active-loading exception with conditions; that is not blanket permission for any truck to wait on any street. Give your mover the exact address and ask it to confirm the rules for its vehicle and stopping plan.

Treat street-storage containers separately
If your wider move uses a portable storage container, Tukwila's guidance distinguishes a container from a vehicle and directs non-vehicle placement in the public right-of-way through its Special Event Permit process. Check that arrangement with the Permit Center before scheduling placement. This concerns street-storage equipment; it is separate from choosing Large or XL household bins and a private indoor staging area.
