Review the route for your actual truck
Pasadena publishes a truck-route map that distinguishes routes inside and outside city limits. Share it with your mover when discussing an approach from SH 225, Beltway 8 or SH 146. Ask the driver to confirm which rules apply to the vehicle and destination, then check the final turn separately. A marked truck route does not establish driveway clearance or permission to unload at the curb.

Inspect the driveway crossing and street edge
Pasadena's Street and Bridge Division maintains roadside ditches and open drainage channels as well as streets and sidewalks. Where your property has a ditch-side driveway, inspect the crossing and the walking path before deciding where a truck or bin stack can go. Ask the property owner about usable surfaces and clearances; do not improvise a crossing over a ditch or assume an unpaved shoulder can support the vehicle.

Check notices without assuming the road is clear
Use Pasadena's Road Closures Alert Center before departure, then confirm the entrance with whoever will meet the vehicle. A page showing no active alerts is not proof that every street, private drive or loading area is open. Share any route change with helpers before they leave, and keep a way to contact the driver if signs or conditions on the final block differ from the plan.
