Verify the address and jurisdiction together
Waller County’s addressing page offers an address-verification search plus a map of city limits, extraterritorial jurisdictions and roads. Use those resources to identify the property, then confirm the responsible city or county office before asking about public-space use. Give your mover the actual entrance and any gate instructions. An address match alone does not establish road ownership, truck clearance or permission to unload there.

Separate household unloading from moving a structure
Waller lists a Move-In/Move-Out application, but the form asks for a structure’s dimensions, utilities and relocation time. Do not treat that title as proof that packing household belongings requires the same permit. The city separately lists a Street Closure Request. If your vehicle plan would close public space, describe the exact location and vehicle to Permits and Inspections before making arrangements.

Pair flood information with an entrance check
Waller offers a free property flood-zone assessment and links separate Waller County and Harris County mapping resources. Ask which source applies to your exact property when reviewing the move. Those maps help with planning; they do not report whether a driveway or road is passable today. After heavy rain, check the entrance from a safe location and postpone unloading if access is flooded or unstable.
